EYFS @ Red Hen
Red Hen upholds the National Early Years Foundation Stage. Our curriculum and everything we do at Red Hen links into the EYFS, helping us to support children's learning and development and evaluate their progress. Nature, environmental sustainability and learning about food are a huge part of daily life at Red Hen.

We place emphasis on the 3 prime areas:-
• Personal, Emotional and Social development,
• Physical Development,
• Communication and Language.
At age 3 years plus, there are additional (specific) areas of learning:-
• Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the world, Expressive Arts and Design.
Red Hen children are fortunate to have their own special hand-written journals that document their time at Red Hen.
